Project no.2　　Guesthouse at Marugame-Machi

This project is a renovation of the house for over 40 years that is in the redevelopment area of Marugame-machi, Takamatsu City.

 

This building where the owner grew up was a vacant house for a while.

​

I revived it as a residential and guest house for the weekend.

​

I redesigned the entrance hall.

The entrance hall is constructed by reusing existing beams.

​

This architecture was featured in a blog posted by Mr. David Michaud, a French photojournalist.

​
